2nd Year Or Beyond College Scholarships Available

There's still time for current college students to apply for a $1,000 scholarship from West Central Telephone's new 2nd Year or Beyond Scholarship. Download the application from www.wcta.net/site/index.php/scholarships. Apply by June 1st.

Last year, West Central Telephone announced the new scholarship opportunity aimed at current college students. "There are many scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors, but few that focus on that second, third or fourth year of college," Bruce Kinnunen, president of the WCTA board stated. West Central awarded ten 2nd Year or Beyond scholarships last year—each in the amount of $1,000.

Eligible students must be members of the cooperative, or have been members when they graduated high school. They must also be entering their 2nd year or later of their college education. One or more students will receive the scholarship this year.
